The annoying part was that the stabber kept teasing me with the knife, lightly poking me in the arms, toes, neck. My quest for a "job" has been pretty ho-hum. Well I mean it's been going rather well but I wholly detest the entire process. Wearing dryclean-only clothes. Smiling. Nodding. Whoring/"putting best face forward."
The one true "moment of zen" came after my NYC mentor let me read his description of my professional character in a reference note (clearly blowing smoke up my ass, I don't know why).
